Place of birth Ngarrkakurlangu, his language/tribe was Warlpiri and he lived at Lajamanu. His country was Ngarrkakurlangu and his Dreamings were Mamingirri, Pakuru, Warlu, Tililturlpa and Ngarrka. He worked with his wife, Janie Samuels Napurrurla and started painting in 1986.
