Miss Nelly Boobier was then living at 2 View Hill Terrace, Sandhurst. 'Miss Nellie Boobier of Waterloo Place, Sandhurst (Bendigo) exhibited watercolour paintings on silk, satin &c. at the 1880 Melbourne International Exhibition in the 'Ladies Court, Victoria Paintings on silk, &c.; Prizes – Boobier, Miss N. Sandhurst – water colour paintings on silk and satin – 2nd award.
