Cartoonist and printmaker, drew cartoons for a book called Days and Nights of Shadey Sydney [a.k.a. A walk in Sydney streets on the shady side ] (Sydney, 1885). In the preface he apologises for his drawings of a drunk and some 'street belles’ being too close to reality (Mitchell Library).
