Noela Stratford Biog:
In her PhD Thesis, awarded in 1998 Noela examined the influence of subjectivity on the interpretation of landscape, an interest that has persisted throughout her adult years. In 190-86 she began formal study with a BA in fine Arts degree then a Graduate Diploma of Education and a Graduate Diploma of Visual arts, later followed by MA by Research in 1994 leading to her PhD studies and the less formal research that continues in the studio today. Noela has exhibited in many national award exhibitions, has held 27 solo exhibitions to 2014 and participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout Australia and internationally. She has participated in national and international residencies finding inspiration and renewal in the fertile ground of new places and the people she encounters. she has works in many public and private collections throughout the world. Noela is now based in Bendigo, north of Melbourne in Victoria.
