professional photographer, advertised as an 'artist photographer: daguerreotype’ in March 1853, giving his address as 85 Collins Street, Melbourne, opposite the Melbourne Mechanics Institution, where 'he is now taking very superior Likenesses in all weathers … Absent friends to memory’s vision brought, by Livezey’. In partnership with J.C. Alexander at 107 Elizabeth Street, he exhibited daguerreotype portraits and landscapes at the 1854 Melbourne Exhibition.
