By 1985, aged 23, he had produced 3 books of cartoons, won a Walkley Award (in 1983) and was a regular on the Midday Show with Ray Martin. Drew a cartoon for 1991 Quit campaign (original ML PxD 672/47); one of desolate drought land being offered by Keating to a less than grateful Aborigine published Koori Mail 2 June 1993, 2 (possibly a reprint from another source).
