Warlpiri artist who lived in Yuendumu and exhibited with Warlukurlangu Artists throughout her career. Her work was included in the exhibition "Mythscapes" at the National Gallery of Victoria, and is in major national collections.
A Warlpiri speaker, Peggy Nangala Jurra lived in Yuendumu and exhibited with Warlukurlangu Artists. Her work was included in the 1986 show at the Editions Gallery in Perth which was the painting company’s first major commercial and critical success. Peggy Jurra was also represented in Mythscapes at the National Gallery of Victoria in 1989, and many commercial shows of Warlukurlangu Artists through the late ’80s. She usually painted her Ngapa (Water) Dreaming.
