sculptor, exhibited at the Centennial International Exhibition in 1888-89, giving his address as Collins Street, Melbourne. His [marble] busts of Bishop Moorhouse and Dean Macarthy were 'conspicuous’ among the paintings and 'a small collection of bronzes and sculpture numbering eight pieces’ in the Victorian Artists’ Gallery (organised by the Victorian Artists’ Society), noted the Official Record , and he was awarded a first Order of Merit and 'the gold medal of the Exhibition’ for them. In the French Court at the same exhibition: 'A bust of the Republic, by Mr. Percival Ball, stood in a prominent position, and on either side were two massive vases from the Cristalleries de Baccarat.’
