Peter Balun Bugara Lowe of the Bunalung clan is from the Tweed River region of northern New South Wales. He works mainly in the media of synthetic polymer paint on canvas and his works depict traditional knowledge and the Dreamings of his area as well as images of the river and sea life. He was a participant in the 2001 Brisbane exhibition “Gatherings, Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art from Queensland, Australia”.
