Born circa 1940 in North Queensland of the Umpila language group, 'Queen’ Elizabeth Gilbet is a maker of Bora beads and puunyas (dilly-bags). Her bags are crafted from various natural materials including wahtul grass, pandanus leaf and lawyer cane.
