Born approximately 1920, Queenie is a senior woman of the Alyawarre tribe, who paints her Red Mallee, Bush Tomato, Night Bird, Intjingya (tree flower seed and leaf) Dreamings. Like most of the Utopia painters, she did her first works with canvas and acrylics in the summer of 1988-9. Her country is Irrweltye, and she is associated with the Ngkwarlerlaneme community on Alyawarre/Kaytetye Aboriginal land to the north of Utopia.
