A Walpiri speaker, Queenie Stewart lives in Yuendumu and paints for Warlukurlangu Artists. Her dreamings are Marlu (Kangaroo), Wardapi (Goanna) and Janganpa (Possum). She exhibited with other Yuendumu painters in 1990 in Darwin and Melbourne, and in 1992 in Perth, Melbourne and Alice Springs.
