cartoonist, signed an elegant Bulletin drawing ('Col Williams 23’) captioned The New Woman : 'The Prodigal Daughter: “Well old Turnip. I’m back again.”/ The Turnip: “So I see. Have you sown your wild oats?”/ The P.D.: “Yes old top, and I’m back for more seed” (original Mitchell Library Px*D547/85). Published 27 December 1923, the address for payment was 'R.C. Williams/ 433 New Canterbury Road/ next P.O./ Dulwich Hill [NSW]’.
