Pintupi artist Richard Minor began painting his Snake and Emu Dreamings for for Papunya Tula Artists in the late 1980s. He has lived at Papunya, Kintore and Mt Liebig.
Born at Haasts Bluff in 1949, Richard attended school in Papunya in the ’60s and began painting for Papunya Tula Artists in the mid 1980s soon after moving to Kintore in his grandfather’s country. He later lived at Mt Liebig. His work often depicts Snake Dreaming and Emu Dreamings for this area.
