Robert Lowes Dibdin

The "gentleman artist", Dibdin is considered Rockhampton's first resident painter, also an actor, an estate agent, and a gold buyer. Dibdin was the founding secretary of the Rockhampton Separation Committee, and remained a strong advocate for the creation of a new North Queensland colony.
