A professional photographer and a gasfitter, Romulus Dethbridge worked in partnership with Andrew Benson in Sandridge, Port Melbourne in the mid-late 1860s.
professional photographer and gasfitter, worked as a photographer in partnership with Andrew Benson from Bay Street, Sandridge (Port Melbourne), between 1864 and 1866. He was working on his own at the same address in 1867 69 as 'photographer and gasfitter’. Although sometimes listed as 'Dethridge’ in Sands & McDougall’s Melbourne Directory , his surname does seem to have had a 'b’ in it.
