Born Nyirrpi, west of Yuendumu c.1942, Ronnie McNamara is an Anmatyerre speaker. He paints Kangaroo, Snake and Bushfire Dreamings from his country west of Yuendumu, and has been painting intermittently since 1975. He lives at Napperby.
