Roy Patterson is a decendant of the Taungurong people. He paints in ochres of many colours including green, pink, purple, grey, orange and blue. He sources the ochres from the earth himself. Patterson also works as a teacher of bush tucker and medicines and performs smoking and welcome to country ceremonies.
