illustrator, did some of the illustrations in Steele Rudd’s Back at Our Selection (Brisbane 1906), first published as a serial in Steele Rudd’s Magazine , along with Ruby Lind , Ashton Murphy and Norman Lindsay. She also contributed to Sandy’s Selection by Steele Rudd (NSW Bookstall Co., Sydney 1904), which contained 40 illustrations also including drawings by Lionel Lindsay, Ambrose Dyson, Nuttall, Leist, A.J. Fischer and Harry Garlick. Was she a relative of Jessie Simpson (1875-1965) and hence of Tom Roberts?

There are 10 ink and 14 pencil sketches in the Dixson Library – not really cartoons but apparently relating to Back at our Selection (Mitchell Library).
