Dentist, amateur woodworker and metalsmith. Mummery took woodcarving classes at Fremantle Technical School c1902-4 under Francesco Vanzetti and John McLeod. This entailed completing a structured two-year course designed for the trades with thirty-two graded exercises. A hallstand with repouss_ panels made by Mummery is in the collection of the Western Australian Museum. His practice was in High Street Femantle and he lived in Richmond.
