painter and printmaker, born Borgia, Italy; came to Australia in 1956 and studied at Julian Ashton’s Sydney Art School and with H.V. Justelius 1961-66. Travelled to Europe and UK in 1971. Mainly painter of portraits and large religious and mythical pictures, has also done frescoes and prints, including An Odyssey 1992, AGNSW (portfolio of 21 woodcuts, all but one used to illustrate Sally McInerney (intro. David Malouf) and Zofrea’s The Journeyman: A story of migrant life (Picador 1992).
