Biography <p>Ceramicist and painter, Sonia Kennedy was a finalist in the 2005 Parliament of NSW Indigenous Art Prize with her acrylic on canvas painting, <i>_Dad's Home -Darlington Point Mission_ </i>(2004). Kennedy has been selling her ceramics and paintings throughout Sydney since 1997. </p> <p>

According to the 2005 Parliament of NSW Indigenous Art Prize catalogue Kennedy is completing a Certificate IV in Ceramics at Nepean TAFE, Kingswood, NSW. It also states that her designs reflect her experiences of being born in and growing up in Western Sydney.</p> <p></p><br /><br /><br />
