cartoonist, worked on Free-Lance (Melbourne) in 1896 along with Laing . He drew pages of vignettes of topical items, rather like Hop’s in the Bulletin , though less well drawn (Juliet Peers), eg 'Sundry Sketches’ 2 July 1896, p 8, and a later one showing the future as predicted by a visiting vegetarian lecturer who suggested we would then not eat meat or wear clothes, hence high society activities such as doing the block and political activities are shown more or less nude (but with specific genital covering).
