Stelarc is a performance, installation and new media artist who has performed and exhibited in Japan, Europe and the United States. Using medical instruments, prosthetics, robotics, virtual reality systems, the Internet and biotechnology, Stelarc explores alternate, intimate and involuntary interfaces with the body.
