Born at Wave Hill of the Warlpiri tribe, Susan Napaljarri lives at Lajamanu. Her country is Warlukurlangu, Yarrurmangu and Karlyardijaru (Ringers Soak) and her Dreaming Warlu. She works with husband Tingiyari ( Jacko Jakamarra ) and his co-wife Lizzie Napaljarri , and started painting in 1986.
