Mid 20th century amateur soldier cartoonist who had one of his WW2 cartoons included in the 2000 Global Arts Link exhibition 'Bluey & Curley : portraits from an era 1939-1955'.
cartoonist, drew an amateur WWII cartoon of a doctor asking his soldier patient And what was your, er civil occupation, my man? He replies “builder” and asks, “What was yours?” (c.1941, LT). The cartoon, evidently drawn for one of the Service annuals or similar war souvenir publication, was included in the Global Arts Link Bluey and Curley exhibition and catalogue (Ipswich, 2000).
