teacher, advertised in May 1833 that he intended 'opening an Academy for the education of Young Gentlemen’ in York Street, Launceston, where drawing would be taught. Willson claimed to have had teaching experience in both England and Van Diemen’s Land and the initials may have been a misprint for John Henry Willson .
