professional photographer, was in partnership with Parkes in June 1865 when they took over the Crofts Brothers ' studio at 33 South Head Road, Sydney. They charged 10s for five cartes-de-visite, or £1 for fourteen. 'Positives’ were available from 3s and copies of any photographs in stock could be purchased 'at greatly reduced prices’. In July Moore & Parkes were advertising large photographs of the ruins of St Mary’s Cathedral taken after the disastrous fire. The following April, however, T. Moore, alone, was advertising his photographic business at 203 South Head Road for sale. He seems to have had no offers. Two months later it was re-advertised with 'effects, [and a] large number of negatives’.
