sketcher and carver, drew a pen-and-ink copy of one of Gustave Doré's illustrations to Tennyson’s Elaine in 1867, reported the Launceston Examiner of 17 June. He also made 'a large cup carved in Huon pine, elaborately ornamented, and encircled with a garland of…clematis’.
