She self-published a 118-page graphic novel full of detailed drawings, Tale-Trader: The Legend of Twarin (1994) – cover signed 'Talnon’ – a fantasy story covering 'such diverse themes as the “balance of life” and conservation; action, consequences and responsibility; trust; misguided loyalties; loss and letting go, and the importance of remembering the past and learning from change’ (Nonveiller, quoted by Unger in Bonzer ed. Annette Sheill, p.79).
