Painter and works on paper artist, born in 1967 Henningsen lives and works on the South Coast of New South Wales. Henningsen is committed to abstraction and in particular the grid.
Henningsen studied at the College of Fine Arts (University of New South Wales) and received his Masters Degree from the University of Wollongong in 2001. In 2007 Henningsen is working towards his PhD at the University of Wollongong.
Henningsen’s work is represented in the collections of the University of Wollongong and The Art Institute of Chicago, as well as private collections in Australia and the United States of America.
