The Rev. Theodore Beazeley was an avid amateur photography who also taught the craft in evening 'self-improvement' classes in Ipswich, Queensland in the 1850s. One of his students was Thomas Mathewson.

Beazeley was presumably connected with Margaret Beazeley.
