professional photographer(?) and photographic dealer, worked in Sydney between 1867 and 1871, first at 98 Market Street and then at 305 George Street. In the Illustrated Sydney News of July 1867 he announced that he was agent for Priston & Smail’s Photographic Goods and Chemicals and in the Sydney Morning Herald of 18 May 1868 he advertised 'Ross or Dallmeyer’s quick Carte Lense [sic]’, so it seems that he was primarily, perhaps exclusively, a dealer in photographic goods, not an active photographer.
