Thomas Jangala Rice has been exhibiting with Warlukurlangu Artists since late 1987, when he took part in the SA Museum’s Yuendumu: paintings out of the desert project, opening in March 1988. A Warlpiri speaker, he lives in Yuendumu. He usually paints Ngapa (Water) Dreamings. His work is included in the Akademie Der Kunste in Berlin.
