Woodcarver, stonemason and monumental mason was born in England and arrived with his wife Harriet on the Diadem in 1842. He purchased a Fremantle town lot in 1857 and fifteen acres at Pinjarra. He was the case maker for the organ in Christchurch, Mandurah. He died at Pinjarra in 1877.
