Warlpiri speaker, Tiger Morris was born at Kunatjarrayi, north west of Nyirrpi, in the 1920s. Painting subjects include Warna (Snake), Rock Wallaby, Honey Ant and Witchetty Grub Dreamings for his country, Kunatjarrayi. He also executed three paintings on the school buildings at Nyirrpi. He began painting in the late 1980s, basing himself at Nyirrpi, but maintaining his close links with Yuendumu.
