Tineke Adolphus was an Adelaide-based fashion designer active during the 1970s. She was part of the Designer Collective, a textile design collective formed in Adelaide in 1979, and was involved in installations at the Adelaide Festival Centre Plaza.

An example of her use of batik can be seen in a caftan she created in 1977, now held in the collection of the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney. The caftan represents an “ethnic” style that was popular in 1970s fashion.
