illustrator, caricaturist and journalist, was 'War correspondent-artist with British Pacific Fleet, World War II; foreign correspondent-artist Japan for Sydney Morning Herald 1945-46; art director Man magazine 1936-39; Daily Herald London, 1957-60; now [1964] illustrator and caricaturist Sydney Morning Herald ' (Rafty & Brodie). A original cartoon (ML PX*D249-37) of a prize bull entirely obliterated by ribbons, “They say it’s the grand champion poll Hereford bull’, was published in the SMH 31-3- 67 (Land sales).
