He came to Australia after WWII and was a freelance illustrator for Man for most of the magazine’s existence, eg. sheik and (white) hareem, cover October 1949 (ill. Lindesay WWW, p.138). He also worked for other K.G. Murray publications, for Speciality Press, Melbourne, and for Colorgravure Publications. Joined MelbourneHerald as press and gag artist in 1952.
