Description

This exhibition highlighted the place of Wilson Hall within the history and minds of the University of Melbourne community. The exhibition traced the Hall’s past, starting from the conception and construction of the original Gothic building in 1878–1882, its destruction by fire in 1952, the debates surrounding rebuilding and the design, construction, opening and use of the modern Hall we know today.
