painter, illuminator and engrosser, showed two chalk drawings, Memory and Religion , at the 1866 Melbourne Intercolonial Exhibition. An oil painting, Autumn , was shown in 1869 at both the Ballarat and Geelong Mechanics Institute exhibitions, along with an example of 'illuminated writing’ at the latter.
