W. Blyth was a sketcher whose drawings of Tumut, New South Wales were exhibited in 1861 at the preparatory exhibition for the London International exhibition of 1862. Blyth drew the original sketch for the engraving of the repulse of Clarke's gang of bushrangers at Nerringundah that appeared in the May issue of the Illustrated Sydney News in 1866.

A resident of Tumut, New South Wales, Blyth (or Bligh) received an honourable mention for View of Tumut River and View of Tumut Church when they were shown at the 1861 Sydney exhibition in preparation for the 1862 London International Exhibition.
