sketcher, exhibited Sacrifice of Jeptha’s Daughter , Tiger’s Head and The Sisters with the South Australian Society of Arts at Adelaide in 1859. All appear to have been copies and were probably student works. At the sixth annual exhibition of the society in January 1863, W. Bruce showed Gladiator in the Arena and two pencil drawings.
