cartoonist and teacher, brother-in-law of painter and cartoonist Constance Roth , also did cartoons, although no extant ones are known. He got a job teaching at Brisbane Grammar School, Qld, after meeting the headmaster in a Brisbane bookshop where he had gone to sell his cartoons.
