William Austin

Draughtsman and painter who exhibited his watercolours in Victoria, Queensland and London. Austin witnessed the arrival of the first gold escort and depicted this event in 'Arrival of the First Gold Escort, William Street, Melbourne, June 1852, By an Eye Witness'.
