Title
Spot the odd one out: Titus at the Council in Jerusalem
Date
2002
Description

A theological/historical work on the disagreement between the Jewish/Jerusalem based Apostles and gentile proselytizing Paul. Circumcision was a prerequisite for becoming a Christian for the Apostles, whereas for Paul, it was not. Acts 16:3 and Galatians chapter 2.

The painting is a comedic/visual retelling of this historical polemic, where the penises of the men involved are gesturally composed as thou in discussion.
