I am an Australian artist from a European background. My art is different as a result of blending my European experience, European art classics with the fresh Australian colors of life and nature. I have had a passion for painting and drawing for as long as I can remember.

My art creates a deep emotional connection between objects and human beings via my inspirational ability to illustrate the exceptional beauty of everyday life. Art is the way I express myself to the world. It gives me freedom to stretch my imagination miles from where I actually am. It’s a wonderful experience to lose myself in creative thoughts by diving into this artistic world.

My vast repertoire of artistic techniques conveys this message in so many forms, where the result is simply unforgettable. My finely tuned mix media techniques encompass numerous art forms: etching, lithography, pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolors.

Born and raised in Omsk, a Russian town in the middle of Siberia, full of history and famous for an active arts community, was the foundation for my talents.

1982 – Graduated with First Class Honours, Master of Fine Art (Painting), State University, Omsk, Russia

1983 – 1997 – Lecturer in Fine Art, specialising in Painting, Graphics, Art History/Theory – State University, Omsk, Russia

1992 – 1994 – Advanced Master Course, Fine Art – I. E. Repin State Academic Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, St. Petersburg, Russia

1995 – 1996 – Professional Fine Art Master Class – V. I. Surikov State Academic Art Institute, Moscow, Russia

Whilst living in Russia, I was a member of the Russian Association of painters and sculptors and a member of Russian Academy of Arts.

In 2005 I moved to Sydney, Australia where I now live and work, making this incredible city my home.

I have participated in a number of prominent art exhibitions and galleries around Russia, Europe, Middle East, USA and Australia creating a large circle of friends, collectors and investors.

I’m passionate about quality rather than quantity when it comes to producing fine artworks. Artistic merit is the product of inspiration, dedication and time.

Thus my home, like my art, blends old and new to create harmony and beauty.
