Vivian Fraser is an architect whose notable project was renovations to a historic cargo shed at Pier 4-5, Walsh Bay, for new public uses by the Sydney Theatre Company and Sydney Dance Company.

Vivian Fraser (1936–) was educated in Newcastle, where he practised independently before arriving in Sydney in 1965. He first worked as the associate of Douglas Snelling (1965-66) and then worked for Ancher Mortlock Murray and Woollley. Since 1975, he has operated an independent practice, mainly designing award-winning theatres and houses, and was the co-winner with Glenn Murcutt of the NSW RAIA’s 1984 Sulman Medal, for his adaptive-reuse of Pier 4-5 at Walsh Bay. His other notable works were the Australia Council office refurbishment, Redfern; the Kings School Theatre, Parramatta; and the Belvoir Street Theatre, Surry Hills.
