professional photographer, had a photographic gallery in the King’s Buildings, Launceston, in 1857, in partnership with T.A. Cleverdon . Cleverdon was advertising alone in December, Clapham having presumably moved to Victoria by then. Afterwards he returned to England. His photograph of The Town and Bay of Portland, in the Colony of Victoria was reproduced as an engraving in the Illustrated London News in 1860.
