Falconer-Green was an industrial designer and the 1st president of the Society of Designers for Industry, 1948. He was instrumental in engaging the Commonwealth in a role in Australian industrial design. He was a specialist in colour and its psychological effects and carried on a design practice as Falconer-Green and Associates with Chere Mary Falconer-Green and John Falconer-Green. Partnership was dissolved in 1947.
